EXCLUSIVE: Nick Bradshaw's "Howling" Good "Mrs. Deadpool" Variant

It was revealed over the weekend that the Howling Commandos will battle on once "Secret Wars" concludes, but before that bridge is crossed, the new incarnation of the team has to make its Marvel Comics debut. And today, CBR News has the exclusive first look at artist Nick Bradshaw's variant cover for "Mrs. Deadpool & the Howling Commandos" #1.

"Man-Thing is definitely the strong, silent type. Frankenstein is the strong, non-silent type who everyone would wish was a bit more silent," writer Gerry Duggan told CBR News of his and artist Salva Espin's monstrous team. "The leader of the Howling Commandos is Jack Russell. He's a fun character to play with and he has some great interactions with Shiklah. They butt heads a little bit because she assumes she will be running the show while Jack is already the de facto leader of the Howling Commandos when they embark upon this crazy journey that they go on."

"Mrs. Deadpool & the Howling Commandos" #1 arrives in stores May 27, 2015.
