The legend of "Avatar: The Last Airbender" continues in 2016, when the latest in Dark Horse Comics' line of in-canon graphic novel series hits stores.

The creative team of Gene Yang and Gurihiru reunite on "Avatar: The Last Airbender-North and South," an all-new tale crafted in collaboration with "Avatar" and "Legend of Korra" co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.

Along with the solicitation copy and cover for the first installment of "North and South," CBR News has the exclusive first look at the covers for the second and third volumes of the series.

"Avatar: The Last Airbender-North and South Part One" debuts Sept. 28, 2016. Part Two arrives January 25, 2017; and Part Three will be released April 26, 2017.
