This past Friday's AXEL-IN-CHARGE, CBR's weekly Q&A column with Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso included the news that "Ms. Marvel" writer G. Willow Wilson is now under an exclusive deal with Marvel.

"She's a really talented writer with a unique voice who's contributed something extremely valuable to the Marvel Universe and helped expand what our publishing line is about," Alonso told CBR News. "Ms. Marvel's role in the Marvel Universe will expand exponentially in the coming year. Oh -- and she's not the only character Willow will be writing down the road. We discussed a new series that I'm very excited about."

Along with the Wilson news and plenty of discussion of the events of the day, this past week's AXEL-IN-CHARGE also included the debut of multiple interior pages from Marvel series scheduled for release on Jan. 14 -- like three pages by Alisson Borges from the upcoming Charles Soule and Ray Fawkes-written weekly series "Wolverines" #2:

Along with four pages from "Silver Surfer" #8 by Mike Allred:

Plus, two double-page spreads by Chris Samnee from "Daredevil" #12:
