EXCLUSIVE: New Art From "Civil War II: Choosing Sides," "Old Man Logan" & More

Each week, AXEL-IN-CHARGE, CBR's regular Q&A with Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso, includes the exclusive debut of new art from upcoming Marvel releases.

In this week's installment, we unveiled a first look Christian Ward's variant cover for "Civil War II: Choosing Sides" #2, along with interior art by Marguerite Sauvage, Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire, and Marco Rudy.

"'Choosing Sides' gives us the opportunity to do stories with -- and check in with -- characters that don't have their own regular series at the moment, and to enlist creative contributions from artists that don't have the bandwidth to take on a larger commitment," Alonso told CBR. "So it increases the storytelling breadth of the event and allows for a greater range of possible takes on the themes that are central to the core series."

In addition, there were exclusive pages from "Old Man Logan" #8 by Andrea Sorrentino and Marcelo Maiolo, and "The Unbelievable Gwenpool" #4 by Gurihiru.
