Following this week's news that Hellboy creator Mike Mignola will provide his take on Mary Shelley's famous creation in 2015 miniseries "Frankenstein Underground," CBR has the first look at two covers for upcoming Mignolaverse collected editions: "B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth" Vol. 11, illustrated by Laurence Campbell and subtitled "Flesh and Stone;" and "B.P.R.D.: 1946 - 1947 - 1948," collecting that series of miniseries and drawn by Mignola himself.

Additionally, Mignola is a scheduled guest for CBR Executive Producer Jonah Weiland's talk show happening 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific today (Saturday, Oct. 4) on KFI AM 640, to discuss Hellboy, "Frankenstein Underground" and more. Mignola's appearance is slated to take place around 4:30 p.m.

Along with the covers, Dark Horse Comics editor-in-chief Scott Allie has provided CBR with some words on the 2015 "B.P.R.D." storyline "Nowhere, Nothing, Never," and the contributions of veteran "B.P.R.D." writer John Arcudi:

"Arcudi's biggest contribution to Mignola's world is to populate it with living breathing people. Unfortunately, they don't always stay living or breathing. They deal with the mortality of their own teammates too often, and for most of them it doesn't get easier. Johann's blurry relationship with mortality comes into focus because it's gotten too easy for him to accept the deaths of the people around him..."
