Following the release of the first issue of writer B. Clay Moore (Hawaiian Dick) and artist Fernando Dagnino (Superman)'s Killers series, Valiant Entertainment has provided CBR with an exclusive look at the second issue.

"Killers #2 picks up right where the first issue left off, with former Ninja Programme operatives Blindside and Carapace throwing down in an Italian alleyway," Moore said in a statement to CBR. "It sort of drives home the point that the characters in this book are used to living a life of violence and action, even years after their heydays. To further illustrate that point, the two have their brawl interrupted by more violence, courtesy an unknown outside party."

"The first issue of the book focused on these two (formerly known as Ninja-G and Ninja-J, respectively)," he continued. "In these preview pages, we meet the former Ninja-I, who know goes by Snapdragon, and quickly learn that her life has been recently turned upside down. As with the introductions in the first issue, we throw the reader right into things, and then tie it together with the appearance of Shuriken, offering to make a deal. And, of course, Fantastic work from both Fernando Dagnino and colorist Jose Villarrubia here, setting the mood in both scenes."
