The Multiverse continues to crumble in the wake of the breaching of the Source Wall, and with Lex Luthor's Legion of Doom hellbent on exploiting the situation for their own good. All of this is making the Justice League's work toward fixing things that muckiest more difficult, the League decides to bring in the big guns.

That's right: Superman's longtime foe Mr. Mxyzptlk has been drafted into the League, but before they can explain the situation to him, Superman's self-described "most powerful enemy, and one of the most dangerous beings in existence" lets it be known that he's having none of what the heroes are selling. Despite being summoned into what the team believed to be a suitable prison, Mxyzptlk quickly transforms all of Metropolis into a dangerous, "living" city, much to the League's dismay.
