Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s pint-sized, foul-mouthed, ultra-violent vigilante Hit-Girl continues to make waves as her solo miniseries rolls on with Marvel's Icon imprint releasing the title's third issue in September. With "Hit-Girl," Millar and Romita Jr. have invited some of their friends to share their takes on the breakout "Kick-Ass" character, and today, CBR has an exclusive first look at Jock's variant cover.
Jock's cover is the latest in a series of variants featuring art by someone other than Romita Jr., following in the footsteps of Dave Johnson, Phil Noto and Leandro Fernandez. Of course, while this is the first look the public has had at the cover, Millar was singing its praises months ago when discussing the series with CBR. "Jock has done one for issue #3 that is just spectacular. I'm a massive fan of Jock's and just to see someone that's so good who you'd never expect to do this draw your character is really fun."
