EXCLUSIVE: House of X #1 Preview Reveals a Whole New World for the X-Men

There's been a lot of mystery surrounding writer Jonathan Hickman and artist Pepe Larraz's House of X, which will intertwine with Powers of X. However, an exclusive preview of House of X #1 provided to CBR by Marvel Comics reveals a whole new world for the X-Men -- literally.

The issue reveals the X-Men are now able to travel through a gateway to a mysterious island. Jean Grey explains the gateways are only accessible to mutants and humans accompanied by them. As the preview ends, Grey encounters Professor Charles Xavier and Wolverine, who is happily playing with some children. "Welcome home, Jean. You're safe here. We all are," says Xavier, one of the main leaders of the often-imperiled mutant race.
