The latest Warner Bros. Home Entertainment animated release features the unlikely pairing of Hanna-Barbera veterans Tom and Jerry plus Jonny Quest, in "Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest." SPINOFF has an exclusive clip from the film, featuring Jonny's friend Hadji showing off his levitating abilities, much to the surprise of the titular cat and mouse duo.

Here's the official description of "Spy Quest": "Get set for intrigue, thrills, suspense and high-action as the animated duo get wrapped up in a top secret, spy-tacular, fun-filled mission the whole family can enjoy together. It's just another day at the beach for the dueling Tom and Jerry… until they bump into world-class junior spies Jonny Quest, Hadji and their canine companion Bandit. When longtime Quest family nemesis Dr. Zin discovers that Jonny’s father, Dr. Benton Quest, has a device to solve the world’s energy problems, he sends his evil cat army to steal it and capture him and his bodyguard, Race Bannon. Jonny and his new furry friends set out to find his father and save the world from the malicious Dr. Zin."

This looks to be just the beginning of "Jonny Quest" re-entering the public consciousness, as it was announced last month that "Spy Kids" director Robert Rodriguez was on board as a director and co-writer of a live-action feature film adaptation. "Tom and Jerry: Spy Quest" is available not on DVD and Digital HD, and is packaged with vintage episodes of both series.
