DC Comics has consistently unleashed themed variants throughout 2014, and that trend continues in December with 23 covers illustrated by Eisner-winning artist Darwyn Cooke.

Presented in landscape format, the covers see Cooke blending his trademark vintage flair -- seen on acclaimed books such as "DC: The New Frontier," his Richard Stark adaptations and "The Spirit" -- with the current iterations of DC's heroes. Today, CBR has the exclusive first look at four of the covers: "Action Comics" #37, ""Grayson" #4, "Justice League United" #7 and "Supergirl" #37, which combines a pre-"Crisis on Infinite Earths" sensibility (including Comet the Superhorse on the "Supergirl" cover) with distinct New 52 touches.
