In June, the Marvel Universe will experience the arrival of The Immortal Hulk, but before Al Ewing and Joe Bennett unleash a resurrected Bruce Banner on the planet, "Avengers: No Surrender" has to properly reintroduce the character. That's precisely what happens in the next issue of the Avengers' current weekly epic, by Ewing, Bennett, Mark Waid,Jim Zub and Paco Medina, and CBR has your exclusive first look.
The preview not only revisits the conversation between Clint and Bruce in which the latter convinces Hawkeye to kill him if necessary,, it sets the stage for the Hulk's upcoming "Immortal" incarnation. Through a series of quick flashbacks, we see at least seven other times Bruce or his green-skinned alter ego have died, only to return from the grave again, and again, and again.
