Marvel has celebrated its 75th anniversary all year, and in October 2014 the publisher is paying tribute to its vast history by lightly poking fun at it through a series of "photobomb" variants featuring Deadpool inserting himself into multiple famous covers.

CBR can exclusively reveal the latest, illustrated by Annie Wu: It's Deadpool departing from the superhero genre to insert himself into the world of romance for a "Black Widow" #11 variant cover, based on the cover of 1965's "Patsy Walker" #121. While most of the Deadpool 75th Anniversary variants reference superhero imagery -- like the iconic "Amazing Spider-Man" #33 cover -- this one takes on teen-humor/romance character Patsy Walker, "the prettiest gal in town" who debuted in 1944 in the days of Marvel precursor Timely Comics. In 1976, though, Patsy received a distinct new identity -- as costumed Marvel crimefighter Hellcat.

Wu's art can next be seen in "Hawkeye" #20, on sale next Wednesday, Sept. 10. Check out both Wu's "Black Widow" #11 variant cover and its inspiration, by Sol Brodsky, below.
