EXCL: Chiang, Fabry, Lemire, Marquez Scare Up Kirby Monster Variants

This October, Marvel is celebrating the work of the legendary Jack Kirby with a series of 26 variant covers featuring some of the influential artist's monsters. Prior to forming the modern Marvel Universe along with writer Stan Lee, Kirby designed a number of gruesome looking creatures for Silver Age anthology series like "Journey Into Mystery," "Tales to Astonish," "Tales of Suspense," "Strange Tales" and more. The variant cover initiative covers those pre-Marvel creations as well as Kirby monsters from the Marvel era -- as shown in these four variant covers Marvel exclusively provided to CBR.

This new batch of variants includes alternate monstrous covers "All-New, All-Different Avengers" #0 by David Marquez and Matt Wilson, "Captain America: White" #3 by Glenn Fabry, "All-New Hawkeye" #1 by Jeff Lemire and "Ms. Marvel" #19 by Cliff Chiang.

The covers feature Devil Dinosaur by Marquez, Jinni Demon by Fabry, Elektro by Lemire and Wrecker's Robot by Chiang. All four covers will arrive in stores this October.
