Flynn touted Cosmo's revival in a statement, saying, "I’m over the moon to be working with Tracy again! We’ve shared a long career together, and we just click. I know he’s going to be producing some fantastic pages for COSMO, which makes me even more excited for readers to get their hands on it! Everyone is in for a real treat."

"I'm very happy to be working once again with the great people at Archie," Yardley expressed in a statement, "and very excited to be teaming up again with Ian Flynn to bring readers a new sci-fi action comedy with all the fun and adventure that made our long run on Sonic the Hedgehog so fun for us to produce and for fans to enjoy. For myself, its going to be great to design new characters, new ships, new places and to draw more of Ian's fantastic stories. Its a whole new world for fans to fall in love with!"
