Koch Media, one of the largest video game publishing partners in Europe, is holding its first E3 showcase. Deep Silver, the publishing label of Koch Media has released over 200 games such as modern classics like Metro 2033the Saints Row franchise and Dead Island. Here's everything announced during Koch Media's E3 showcase.

Prime Matter

A new publishing label under Koch Media, a teaser trailer for the company's upcoming games highlighted epic-fantasy battles, a medieval sword fight, cyberpunk gunfights and seemingly a sneak peek at Payday 3.

Prime Matter will lead the industry "through creativity and expression" and looks to make projects for gamers by gamers.

Painkiller

While no trailer for the new Painkiller was revealed, the sequel to the classic first-person shooter was confirmed to be in production. While the game was announced during Summer Games Fest 2021, Koch Media's showcase revealed that the new Painkiller is in the early stages of development. Details will be revealed in the near future.

Untitled Horror Game

An upcoming action-survival game by Prime Matter, the development on this particular title seeks to combine horror elements and action gameplay into one package. The game's themes deal with self-discovery and spiritual awakening. The game's tone is influenced by 70s film aesthetics and has been inspired by Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness and Alone in the Dark. It will be powered by Unreal Engine 4 and will make use of motion-capture technology and fully-voiced dialogue.

Kingdom Come Deliverance

Kingdom Come Deliverance, the medieval role-playing game released in 2018 is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Warhorse Studios addresses how a mistake resulted in the port of the game. Warhorse Studios also announced a new Kingdom Come Deliverance brand of soap and board game.

Final Form (Working Title)

Final Form is an upcoming sci-fi first-person shooter that places players in the role of a humanoid avatar on a starship in deep space. The developers are placing an emphasis on freedom of movement and player expression through a range of abilities and power-ups.

Dolmen

Developed by Massive Work Studio, Dolmen combines the themes and aesthetics of HP Lovecraft and HR Giger. Players will need to save an alien species rather than fight them off to save humanity. The developer describes the experience as a "hardcore game." Development on the game started in 2015 and inspiration for Dolmen was drawn from Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Mass Effect and Dead Space.

King's Bounty 2

A fantasy RPG, King's Bounty 2 will be the first game published by Prime Matter. The title will include a hexagonal combat board that will feature terrain types, line-of-sight technology and an emphasis on epic-scale battles. The game will feature a standalone story that is not connected to previous games. The game has been described as a cross between a high-fantasy RPG and a tactical strategy game. King's Bounty 2 will launch on August 24.

Scars Above

A third-person action horror game, Scars Above chronicles Kate as she attempts to survive on an alien planet using nothing but her wits and parts scavenged from the environment. The game seems to be pulling for the lore of HP Lovecraft and will deal with themes of eldritch horror.

Encased

A dystopian sci-fi RPG, Encased is an isometric game that sees players join one of the five divisions of the CRONUS Corporation. Each background has its own benefits and features as well as drawbacks that can hinder the player's progress. Players can engage in deep role-playing mechanics and sprawling story that changes based on their decisions.

Echoes of the End

Echoes of the End is a fantasy RPG that follows Ryn, a hero that can manipulate all forms of matter. Powered by the Unreal Engine, players will have to guide Ryn through a dangerous world filled with deadly enemies, devious puzzles and potential allies.

The Last Oricru

An action RPG with a heavy emphasis on player choice and narrative exploration, The Last Oricru takes place in a far-future fantasy world where the technology of the past is seen as magic. The game will feature complex, layered combat, co-op play and many important story decisions for the player that will impact the game's narrative at large.

Payday 3

While it's still in very early development, Payday 3 will provide fans of the franchise exactly what they want in a sequel. Players will travel across the United States to pull off a variety of complex heists. Along the way, they'll have to fend off the police, crack open safes and make off with as much cash as they possibly can. Payday 3 is scheduled to release in 2023.
