Japan declared a state of emergency on April 16 in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, a measure which will be in effect until at least May 6 to try and curb the spread of the virus in the country. Even before this, its far-reaching effects were, unfortunately, being felt in the anime and manga industry, including across major magazines like Weekly Shonen Jump, which distributes comic heavyweights like One PieceMy Hero Academia and Boruto.

Jump's publisher, Shueisha, put a home-working policy into effect from April 6 but, just two days later, the company announced a temporary suspension of work across its entire editorial department in order to protect its staff after a suspected case was reported. This means Issue #21 -- originally scheduled for release in Japan on April 20 -- is planned to be released on April 27 instead. It will also be combined with Issue #22 and renumbered as such. Coronavirus-related delays are also disrupting a growing list of anime series and films, including some adaptations of aforementioned Jump titles like One Piece and Boruto, and the My Hero Academia SimulDub.

Here, along with Jump, is every manga publication that has been affected by COVID-19.
