These cameos, many of which include famous stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, add a welcome dose of levity to the film, keeping audiences on the lookout for any surprise appearances.

7 Cole's Family

Lizze Broadway as Mattie Turner in Ghosted

In Ghosted, Cole gets plenty of unsolicited relationship advice from his family members, who are portrayed by several recognizable actors. Playing Cole's father is Tate Donovan, a comedian known for his roles in The O.C. and for voicing Hercules in Disney's 1997 animated film. Cole's mother is played by Amy Sedaris, a renowned comedic actress who has most recently appeared in several episodes of The Mandalorian. Finally, Cole's sister, Mattie, is played by Lizze Broadway, who appeared in The Boys spinoff, Gen V.

Cole's family has a relatively limited role in the film, but Donovan, Sedaris, and Broadway make the most of their time therein. The three characters help provide a much-needed dose of backstory for Chris Evans's character, establishing his risk-free personality in order to set up his daring adventure in the later acts of the film. Their roles are thankless, but the three actors certainly play their parts well.

6 Tiya Sircar

Tiya Sircar in Ghosted

Tiya Sircar may not be an actress that most viewers recognize right away, but many are probably familiar with her work. Sircar has appeared in various popular projects, including a recurring role in The Good Place. The actress is perhaps best known for her voice role in Star Wars: Rebels, in which she played Mandalorian Sabine Wren, who will be played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo in the highly-anticipated Ahsoka Disney+ show.

Sircar has a brief role as CIA agent Patti, who runs a polygraph test on Sadie and Cole after their mission goes awry. HIlariously, Patti immediately picks up on the sexual tension between the two characters, encouraging them to work out their differences during their lie detector test. It may be a brief role, but it is certainly a memorable one.

5 Tim Blake Nelson

Tim Blake Nelson as Borisov in Ghosted

Known for appearing in projects like Holes, Lincoln, and HBO's Watchmen, Tim Blake Nelson has also appeared as the dangerous MCU villain, the Leader. After making his MCU debut over a decade ago in The Incredible Hulk, Nelson is set to finally reprise his villainous role in next year's Captain America: New World Order.

Tim Blake Nelson has a small role in Ghosted as the Russian torturer Borislov, who abducts Cole Turner under the mistaken assumption that he is the CIA agent known as the Taxman. After landing a few punches on the confounded civilian, Borislov's hideout is infiltrated by Sadie Rhodes, who locates and kills him in a matter of seconds.

3 Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds as Jonas in Ghosted

Known for his work in a variety of popular films, including the Deadpool franchise, Spirited, The Adam Project, and a host of other hits, Ryan Reynolds remains one of the most successful actors working today. To this point, his iconic Marvel mercenary Deadpool is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the next several years, beginning with Deadpool 3, which is set to begin production in the next few weeks.

Perhaps in recompense for Chris Evans's surprise cameo in 2021's Free Guy, Ryan Reynolds appears in a brief scene during Ghosted's final battle. In the middle of a shootout between Sadie Rhodes and the villains, Jonas, her ex-boyfriend, played by Reynolds himself, recognizes her from across the room. Sporting an eyepatch, Jonas attempts to win Sadie back, claiming how his various injuries sustained during their romance have made him a better man. Unfortunately for Jonas, Sadie turns him down and continues with her mission.

2 Anthony Mackie

Anthony Mackie as the Grandson of Sam in Ghosted

Anthony Mackie is best known for his work alongside Chris Evans in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, wherein he portrays Sam Wilson, a.k.a. the Falcon. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, Mackie's character took over the mantle of Captain America from Steve Rogers, which he will carry forward in next year's Captain America: New World Order, which is currently in the middle of shooting.

In a stark departure from their superhero characters' friendship in the MCU, Mackie, and Evans share the screen once more in Ghosted--this time as enemies. Mackie makes a hilarious cameo as the Grandson of Sam, a bounty hunter who attempts to capture Cole and Sadie in Pakistan. The Grandson of Sam, who claims to be a "next generation" killer, is jumped and injured by the Leopard but manages to survive long enough to hit a surprise third bounty hunter with his car.

1 Sebastian Stan

Sebastian Stan as God the Bounty Hunter in Ghosted

Sebastian Stan is yet another Marvel Cinematic Universe star tapped for a surprise appearance in Ghosted. Known for portraying James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes, who has gone by several aliases in the MCU, including the Winter Soldier and the White Wolf, Stan is currently set to appear in next year's Phase 5-ending film, Thunderbolts.

Playing on his long friendship with Chris Evans, which dates back to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, Stan appears as a bounty hunter who refers to himself as God. Stan's character surprises Leopard in his car, shooting him and kidnapping Sadie and Cole himself. However, the bounty hunter is killed by the Grandson of Sam, who hits him with his car right as he boasts about his keen senses. Stan's appearance completes the surprise reunion of the iconic MCU trio that includes Evans and Mackie, and truly stands out as one of the most memorable moments in Ghosted.
