Westworld is best known for showing robots in front of the camera. Little did we know that it uses them behind the camera as well.

HBO released a featurette featuring original cast member Evan Rachel Wood and Season 3 addition Aaron Paul, in which the two spoke about their experiences filming the sci-fi drama. The two discussed their first scene together, which character they identify with the most and irony of using drones to film a show that is about robots.

"My very first shot of the show was on this bridge downtown and there's this classic drone shot," Paul said. "Drone comes in I think it's gonna kill me. And then he just catches it and then follows me."

"If you don't think the drone is gonna kill you for a split second, you're not doing it right," Wood added with a laugh. "It's really like doing a movie in the future because all of a sudden the cameras are strapped to these flying robots. Being on Westworld and working with those, to me, is really surreal."

Paul is not the only new addition to the HBO series. Westworld will look quite different from its previous two outings when it returns. The trailers and promos indicate that the story will be ditching the parks and start showcasing the outside world. The drama has also gained several other new cast members, including John Gallagher Jr, Vincent Cassel and Michael Ealy.

Those looking for a little familiarity, though, have nothing to worry about. Aside from Wood, original cast members Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson and Luke Hemsworth will be back.

Created by Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy, Westworld stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Luke Hemsworth, Simon Quarterman, Rodrigo Santoro, Aaron Paul, Vincent Cassel, Lena Waithe, Scott Mescudi, Marshawn Lynch, John Gallagher Jr., Michael Ealy and Tommy Flanagan. Season 3 premieres on March 15, 2020, at 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
