In A.X.E.: Starfox #1, Eros has begun taking on the responsiblitiy of his new position as he searches for a way to help save Earth after Proegnitor brought upon the rapture to the Marvel Universe in Judgment Day #4. To do so, he's decided to open portals from Earth-616 to Olympia, the capital of the Eternals, for humans seeking reguge.

Eros and Zuras Fight for Eternals Leadership

Before Starfox can do so, however, he encounters Zuras. "[Zuras] went to war to try to stop my father from having children," Starfox narrates. "He's been Prime Eternal almost constantly ever since. Not a fan of me, nor I, him." Zuras quickly makes his nephew aware he strongly disagrees with his plan to open the portals to Olympia, which then results in a major fight between the two. The battle ends only when Starfox says he wants to give up his role and let Zuras lead once the Celestial problem has been figured out. "I don't want to lead," Eros explains. "That's not what I'm for. I want to inspire. You don't believe thigns can change for the better? I do. That you don't shows why you need me. Today, my hope will save a lot of people, and you'll see." Zuras agrees to the plans and the two part ways, with Starfox's plan to open the portals ultimately proving succesful. "Make yourselves at home," he says to everyone traveling to Olympia on the issue's final page. "Don't worry -- love will save us all."
