Marvel Studios released a new teaser for its forthcoming film Eternals that embraces the classic Marvel Cinematic Universe humor.

T video sees the Eternals make their way to Earth, and as the ship closes in over what looks to be a beach, we see the heroes move in to protect humans from Deviants. When asked why they hadn't stepped in to stop Thanos, Sersi explains they were instructed not to interfere until now. We then get snippets of humor from the gang, including the utterance of "Eternals Assemble" by Richard Madden's Ikaris.

As Ikaris, Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), Sprite (Lia McHugh) and Sersi (Gemma Chan) come upon Thena (Angelina Jolie), seemingly for the first time in a while, Kingo jokes about her gardening in the desert. We see Thena battling a Deviant in her full costume before the scene cuts away to Sersi and the others on a battlefield, followed by a scene of fireworks courtesy of Sprite. The video ends on a light note with Phastos telling Thena her babysitting privileges have been revoked after she uses a spear to pierce an orange.
