Marvel Studios has announced that The Eternals will undergo a name change, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe film now titled "Eternals."

A reason for Eternals dropping "The" from the title was not given by Walt Disney Studios, though the updated name does match the title of Marvel's relaunch of an Eternals ongoing comic book series.
