Eternals star Kit Harington discussed the possibility of reuniting with Game of Thrones co-star Emilia Clarke now that both actors are joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Harington plays one of the few human characters in Marvel's Eternals, which centers on a race of cosmic superheroes, while Clarke has scored a mystery role in Marvel's upcoming Disney+ series Secret Invasion. When asked by The Hollywood Reporter if the former co-stars prepared to cross paths in the MCU, Harington said, "No, we haven't. That would slightly blow my mind, I think, because me and Emilia had a lot together. So if we ended up crossing paths in a different franchise, I think we'd have a good old giggle about that."

Eternals already marks a reunion between Harington and Richard Madden, who played half-brothers on HBO's Game of Thrones. Harington, however, said meeting his former co-star in another major franchise felt somewhat uneventful. "We really didn't have a lot of time on set together on Game of Thrones," he explained. "So it's strange. Our closeness is not built in front of camera; it's built behind camera. We've been very good friends for a long time, so it was nice to spend bit of time -- albeit limited time -- with a friend on set." Harington added, "For fans of Game of Thrones or fans of that universe, to see two major roles from that world in another one feels like a bigger thing than it does to me and Richard."

Harington previously admitted he doesn't know if his Eternals character was among those snapped away by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War before being "blipped" back in Avengers: Endgame. When asked if Marvel Studios ever told him whether or not his character fell victim to Thanos, Harington said, "They didn't actually, and I never asked. That's bad acting of me. That's bad preparation. I reckon he wasn't. I reckon he was there, he stayed. That's the decision I'm making now."

Clarke recently confirmed her involvement in Secret Invasion, but wouldn't reveal much about her role for fear that Marvel's "security team" would come after her. The upcoming series centers on a shapeshifting race of aliens, known as Skrulls, who have been posing as superheroes in preparation to invade Earth. Nick Fury actor Samuel L. Jackson and Captain Marvel's Ben Mendelsohn are reprising their MCU roles for the series.

Eternals is now playing in theaters.
