Die-hard fans of the Eternals will be happy to know that the upcoming film will be influenced by the original comics written by Jack Kirby.Marvel Studios Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige spoke to Buzzfeed Brasil about his admiration for Jack Kirby, calling the creator both "amazing" and a "visionary." Feige went on to say, "Love the cosmic side of it and love these great galaxy expanding stories, and that's very much what we're playing into with Eternals. At the same time, what he did, and what makes Marvel Marvel, is that it's both a huge cosmic story and a very human story.RELATED: Eternals: Disney Heir Has Concerns With Kumail Nanjiani's Transformation

Jack Kirby first introduced the Eternals to the Marvel Universe with The Eternals #1, which released in July 1976. Kirby is known for helping create a vast number of Marvel characters, including Silver Surfer, Ant-Man, Professor X and many more.

Eternals will be part of Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There is still no official word on the plot of the film or when a trailer will release.

Directed by Chloé Zhao with a screenplay by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, Eternals stars Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Gemma Chan as Sersi and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, aka the Black Knight. The film arrives in theaters on Nov. 6, 2020.
