A new clip from Eternals shows Ikaris come to recruit Kingo back into his old life in order to fight the returning Deviants.

The Good Morning America-exclusive clip opens with a Bollywood dance number that sees Kingo wearing a costume patterned after that of Ikaris. After shouting, "Cut!" Kingo joyfully reunites Ikaris, Sersi and Sprite, who he calls his friends from college.

The clip takes a more serious turn when Sersi tells Kingo they need to talk. "The Deviants are back," Ikaris says as the clip comes to a close. "We don't know how many there are. You need to come with us."

Prior to the release of the clip, Nanjiani had previously discussed his character's career as a Bollywood star. "By this point, we’ve been on Earth for a long time," Nanjiani stated. "And my character, for instance, is like 'OK we’re supposed to keep a low profile, no one should know.' So I become a Bollywood movie star, that’s my secret identity. We’re supposed to keep quiet and I’ve become the biggest Bollywood movie star."

In addition, Nanjiani also talked about how he wanted to use Kingo to subvert Pakistani and Middle Eastern stereotypes in pop culture. "We get to be nerdy. I wanted him to be the opposite of that — I wanted him to be cool," he said. "With nerdy goes 'weakling,' and I wanted him to be the opposite of that and to be strong physically. Or we get to be terrorists, and I wanted him to be the opposite of that. I wanted him to be this character full of joy."

As for the film itself, Marvel Studios President and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige recently said that Eternals is a "love letter" to the characters' original creator Jack Kirby. "We are very, very proud of it," Feige commented. "Yes, it’s 10 characters nobody has heard of. But it is the heart and soul of what Jack Kirby brought to our universe." Executive producer Nate Moore had previously stated that Eternals would draw more from Kirby's works than the 2006 Neil Gaiman limited series.

The synopsis for Eternals can be found below:

When monstrous creatures called the Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.

Eternals arrives in theaters on Nov. 5.
