Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has just offered a few more details about the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first openly gay hero, who will debut in Eternals.At Disney's D23 Expo, Fiege told Good Morning America, "He's married. At the time of writing, the identity of this gay character has not yet been revealed. However, judging by Fiege's comment, the openly queer hero will be a male character. This means the list of candidates for the character includes Ikaris (Richard Madden), Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani), Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry), Gilgamesh (Don Lee) and Druig (Barry Keoghan).

Created by Jack Kirby, the Eternals are a race of immortal, superpowered beings who were created by the Celestials. Although they've been alluded to in other MCU films, this movie will mark their Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. D23 saw the reveal Game of Thrones alum Kit Harington as Dane Whitman/Black Knight, while Gemma Chan will play Sersi. They're joined by Barry Keoghan as Druig, a villainous Eternal. Plot details about the film are not known at this time.

Directed by Chloé Zhao with a screenplay by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, Eternals stars Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Gemma Chan as Sersi and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman, aka the Black Knight. The film arrives in theaters on November 6, 2020.
