Eternals star Kit Harington, who plays Dane Whitman/Black Knight in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, gave a piece of his mind to the people who spoiled one of its post-credits scenes.

During an interview with The Playlist, Harington was asked if he was bummed about what happened with the information on the scenes getting online. "I honestly didn’t know it had," he replied. "I’ve lived in a world where spoilers happen for a long time. I realize they can happen. It’s just disappointing that people do it. Let people go to the cinema and experience it when they pay for their ticket and do it that way, rather than spreading it online where they might not realize they’re coming across stuff."

Earlier this month, following Eternals' red carpet screening, the aforementioned post-credits scene was spoiled in a tweet from a journalist. The details in the spoiler were then picked up by various other outlets, some of which did not conceal them or provide any warnings about spoilers.

Aside from from telling off those responsible for the spoiler, Harington had previously revealed that he was unsure of his character's future. "I’ve got no idea whether my character goes on or not," Harington stated. "I had read up on who he could be, or might be. So there’s the possibility for a longer trajectory. And hopefully, I think this is the tip of the iceberg for my character. I hope. But I just don’t know, you know? I’m as in the dark as anyone else. And I try not to live too far ahead in the future with anything. Even when I was in Game of Thrones, even on the sixth season, I presumed the seventh season wasn’t going to happen!"

Eternals hits theaters on Nov. 5.
