A Quiet Place II's Emily Blunt reminds fans she's already played a superhero.

After Blunt was told during an interview with CinePOP that fans want her in a superhero role, she quipped, "Really? This is my superhero. Mary Poppins is a superhero. I’ve done it."

Earlier in May, Blunt shot down fan speculation that she's cast as Susan Storm/The Invisible Woman in Marvel Studios' upcoming Fantastic Four film.

Blunt played the title role in 2018's Mary Poppins Returns, a sequel to 1964's Mary Poppins. Both films are based on the series of children's stories by author P.L. Travers that's centered around a magical nanny who brings joy and structure into the dysfunctional lives of the Banks family. In the first film, set in London in 1910, Poppins cares for children Michael and Jane. Marry Poppins Returns, however, takes place during the Great Depression, with Michael, now the widowed father of three, needing Poppins' help.

However, Blunt didn't close the door on playing a superhero, stating, "I don’t know. I'm not well versed enough on it. I'm going to let the fans cast it, 'cause I don't know enough about it."

Written and directed by John Krasinski, A Quiet Place: Part II stars Emily Blunt, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Jupe, Millicent Simmonds and Cillian Murphy. The film arrives in theaters May 28
