This year, Game of Thrones wrapped up its eight-season run, leaving the cast and crew with some fond memories of the characters they portrayed for almost a decade. As she prepared to part ways with the Mother of Dragons, actor Emilia Clarke wanted to take home one souvenir: her wig.
The white hair is part of Daenerys Targaryen's iconic look, dating all the way back to her very first appearance in Season 1. Unfortunately, Clarke's request to take the wig home was denied. At Sunday's Emmy Awards celebration, she joked with Access Hollywood about it, saying, "I have not seen the wig. I was like, that's my hair."
She was, however, able to get her hands on an arrow from the set. "Ben and I did steal an arrow from one of the battles and then we hid it," she said. "Nobody will notice."
She also teased that she would not miss the corset she had to wear while filming. "I won't miss the corset though, no. I didn't like the corset. The corset didn't like me. I was in there for sure," she joked.
At the Emmys, Clarke was nominated in the category of "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series" for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen. Although Killing Eve's Jodie Comer took home that particular award, Game of Thrones ended up winning for "Outstanding Drama Series."
