Lord of the Rings alum Elijah Wood has joined the chorus of critics condemning Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Wood responded to a Tweet from a Star Wars trivia account, which said: “Did you know? The Sith Eternal fleet seen in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was created by Sith cultists on Exegol, who indoctrinated Exegol’s population with Sith values and raised and trained their children to become officers, mechanics and soldiers for the Final Order.”

“No. How could we have known?” Wood replied, with other Twitter users joining in on the criticism.

The Rise of Skywalker has come under fire since it hit theaters late last year. While many people liked the film, it also received backlash for leaving viewers in the dark about some important plot points -- such as the evolution of Exegol, as Wood pointed out above.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong' o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film is now in theaters and will be on sale digitally on March 17 and physically on March 31.
