Eli Roth's Clown Starts Filming

Have you finally gotten over that fear of clowns inspired by Stephen King's It? Well, prepare for a relapse. Eli Roth is producing a horror movie called Clown from co-writers Jon Watts and C.D. Ford, with Watts also directing. According to Heat Vision, filming has already begun in Canada on the supernatural horror film.

Andy Powers stars as a man who puts on a cursed clown suit to entertain his kid and his friends for a birthday party. It turns out Powers can't take the suit off, and bad things start happening. Laura Allen plays Powers' wife while Peter Stormare is "an expert steeped in clown lore."

Elizabeth Whitmere, Christian DiStefano and Matthew Stefiuk will also appear in the Dimension film, which is set to open in 2013.
