Eli Roth to Host 'Shark Week's' Late-Night 'Shark After Dark'

Horror filmmaker Eli Roth will host this year's edition of "Shark After Dark," the late-night talk show that airs on Discovery Channel during "Shark Week."

“Being part of this is a dream come true for me as I’ve been a 'Shark Week' fan for 20 years – it’s my favorite television week of the year,” Roth, the director of "Cabin Fever" and "Hostel," said in a statement. “I am completely shark obsessed and cannot wait to dive in and help create the most exciting 'Shark Week' in years."

Airing from Sunday, July 5, to Thursday, July 9, at 11 p.m. ET/PT, "Shark After Dark" will feature Roth talking to celebrity guests, fans and shark experts, looking back at "Shark Week" highlights, and previewing what's to come.

This will be the third consecutive year for the show, which was previously hosted by comedian Josh Wolf.
