Funko is continuing its line of Pop! figures paying tribute to the first appearances of prominent Marvel Comics characters as the House of Ideas continues to celebrate its 80th anniversary. The latest such figure Marvel fans can add to their collection depicts the dangerous assassin Elektra as she first appeared all the way back in 1981's Daredevil #168.

While Funko Pop!s are known for their minimalist design, Elektra's outfit does greatly resemble the iconic version she wore starting in the early '80s. In fact, the only thing that would make the figurine even more accurate to Elektra's first appearance would be if her name was misprinted as "Elecktra" on the box.

Created by Frank Miller, Elektra Natchios has gone on to become one of the single most important characters in the Daredevil mythos since her debut nearly four decades ago. In addition to playing a pivotal role in Miller's tenure penning the Man Without Fear's stories for Marvel, Elektra has enjoyed a fair amount of success in her own right -- starring in various solo adventures, as well as joining up with such teams as the Thunderbolts and the Savage Avengers.

Played by Jennifer Garner, the character made her live-action debut in the 2003 Ben Affleck-starred Daredevil film before a spin-off movie of her very own in 2005. While both films didn't fare particularly well with audiences and critics, Elektra made her triumphant return to the world of live-action in 2016. Played this time by Élodie Yung, she had a key role in the second season of Netflix's Daredevil television series, going on to become a major antagonist in the 2017 crossover miniseries The Defenders.
