El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie Adds Another Series Alum

While much of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is shrouded in mystery, a few items have been revealed. For example, Aaron Paul (Jesse Pinkman) and Charles Baker (Skinny Pete) will be reprising their roles from the hit TV series. Now, Netflix and Sony have confirmed that Matt L. Jones will be returning as Badger.

In Breaking Bad, Brandon Mayhew aka Badger is a meth-dealing friend of Jesse Pinkman that could often be found with Skinny Pete. The character was introduced in Episode 5 of the series' first season and appeared in the show's final episode, "Felina."

There has been speculation that several other Breaking Bad alum will be reprising their roles, including Bryan Cranston as Walter White. However, there has been no official word from Cranston or show creator Vince Gilligan.

Matt Jones is a long-time television actor, appearing in series such as Key & Peele, The Office and Broad City. Recently, Jones appeared in the James Gunn produced supervillian origin film, Brightburn.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will be set after the show's finale. A teaser for the film was released in late August.

Written and directed by Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie stars Aaron Paul. The film arrives on Netflix Oct. 11, with a later release scheduled for AMC.
