Even supervillains get nervous at times. During an appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" last night, Jesse Eisenberg revealed just how anxious he was during his transformation into Lex Luthor for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" -- specifically because of the villain's signature bald look.
"I came out of the womb with a full head of hair, so I've never been able to touch my scalp," said Eisenberg. "Yes, it's freezing! It's really strange, it's the kind of thing where you feel like I can really damage myself. You want to wear a helmet [when you have a shaved head]."
The actor, previously known for his roles in "The Social Network" and "Now You See Me," said that losing his hair left him feeling very exposed. "It's terrifying," he added.
"That makes Lex Luthor seem so much less intimidating," joked host Seth Meyers before showing pics of Eisenberg on the set. While filming the 2016 superhero team-up movie, Eisenberg had to keep his head covered in-between takes, resulting in a look that Meyers dubbed "E.T. in the basket."
"You'd think there'd be something more threatening than the floral-arrangement bandana," said Eisenberg. "Everything is shrouded in secrecy and the people are shrouded in bandanas."
