Anna Kendrick's brother isn't the only one who thinks the "Pitch Perfect" actress would be ideal to play Squirrel Girl on the big screen. Now she's received the endorsement of her "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" director.

In a tweet, Edgar Wright rattled off a list of superheroes that actors from his 2010 action comedy have played (or will play) on film and television, ending with his push for Kendrick to star as the bushy-tailed Marvel Comics character.

In Scott Pilgrim: Superman, Cap America, Human Torch, Punisher, Cap Marvel, Lego Robin & The Atom. Get @AnnaKendrick47 a Squirrel Girl film.- edgarwright (@edgarwright) August 4, 2016

That's Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram) as the Man of Steel in "Superman Returns" and the Atom on "DC's Legends of Tomorrow"; Chris Evans (Lucas Lee) as the Human Torch in 2005's "Fantastic Four" and its sequel, and Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Thomas Jane (Vegan Policemen) as The Punisher; Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim) as Robin in the upcoming "LEGO Batman Movie"; and Brie Larson (Envy Adams) newly announced as Captain Marvel in Marvel's films.

Kendrick responded to Wright's tweet, and the two went on to joke about who Squirrel Girl would have to fight in their proposed version of the movie.

Of course, it's worth noting there isn't actually a live-action "Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" movie in development. But, hey, it's fun to talk about.
