Wild Eye Releasing has unveiled the trailer for its latest film, Ebola Rex.

Directed by Dustin Ferguson, the trailer features a Tyrannosaurus Rex being set loose in downtown Los Angeles by a mysterious vigilante. As if matters weren't worse enough, the T-rex is infected with the ebola disease -- which causes its flesh to decay rapidly. The film stars Mel Novak (Game of Death) and is directed by Dustin Ferguson, who has helmed other horror films including The Amityville Horror.

This is not the only Wild Eye Releasing film to feature the Ebola Rex. Ebola Rex vs. Murder Hornets, which reteamed Ferguson and Novak, pitted the diseased dinosaur against a swarm of "murder hornets" and a "firenado" that contained multitudes of flaming spiders. Wild Eye Releasing's other films include The Velocipastor, which features a priest that is able to transform into a Velociraptor.

Ebola Rex joins the "mockbusters" that have parodied the Jurassic Park franchise and the follow-up film series Jurassic World. The third film in the Jurassic World trilogy, Jurassic World: Dominion, is set to premiere on June 10, 2022. Dominion sees Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum reuniting for the first time since the original Jurassic Park films.

Directed by Dustin Ferguson, Ebola Rex stars Mel Novak, Clint Beaver, Shawn C.Phillips, and Mike Ferguson. It will be available to purchase on DVD and VOD on June 8.
