Dynamite Comics has revealed that it's bringing back the Six Million Dollar Man in an all-new series in March 2019.

Written by Christopher Hastings (The Unbelievable Gwenpool) and penciled by artist David Hahn (Batman ’66), the series will take place in the 1970s and will follow Austin as he works with Japanese secret agent Niko Abe to stop a mysterious madman from enacting his revenge against United States. Things get more complicated, however, when the upgrades that power Austin begin to malfunction and fail during the mission. Now, Steve and Niko will need to work together to combat samurai, KGB operatives and more if they want to save America.

Based on the 1970's show of the same name, The Six Million Dollar Man will center around American Colonel Steve Austin, a decorated hero who is seriously injured and receives a new series of cybernetic upgrades to get him back into action.

“I know comics is the business of fun, but MAN I had a lot of fun writing this book,” Hastings said in a statement. “I do little dances in my chair when David Hahn's artwork comes in (which is then accompanied by the terrible sense of responsibility of writing words that are good enough to be seen next to it).”

The Six Million Dollar Man #1 scheduled to be released sometime in March 2019.
