Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is fangirling over his name being dropped in a teaser for Sonic the Hedgehog.In the latest trailer, Sonic says, "Where am I? What year is it? Is the Rock president?" Johnson shared the Sonic Hedgehog teaser along with the caption, "So crazy I used to love playing Sonic in college. Sonic the Hedgehog has been getting plenty of press lately, as animators completed a redesign of the character after negative fan reactions to the original design. It was recently announced that the visual effects studio in charge of the redesign, Moving Picture Company, has been shut down.

Dwayne Johnson currently stars in Jumanji: The Next Level, a follow-up to the 2017's Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle. The film also stars Danny DeVito, Danny Glover, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan and more. Jumanji: The Next Level is currently in theaters.

Opening Feb. 14, director Jeff Fowler's Sonic the Hedgehog stars Ben Schwartz as Sonic and Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, with James Marsden, Neal McDonald, Tika Sumpter, Adam Pally and Natasha Rothwell.
