Audiences cannot get enough of Black Adam's post-credits scene, which features the long-awaited return of Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel.

Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson shared the audio from a recent screening of the latest DC Extended Universe film on Twitter, remarking that he got "Chills" listening to the theater erupt into cheers when Cavill's Superman appeared onscreen to talk to Black Adam. Johnson continued to hype up his film by declaring that "[Black Adam] is a GREAT TIME at the movies" and that the film "opened #1 in France, Korea & Indonesia."

Following months of rumors, Cavill officially returned to the DCEU after a prolonged absence for Black Adam's mid-credits scene, which sees Amanda Waller send Superman to meet and speak with Black Adam. Fans were quick to point out online how different the Kryptonian looked compared to previous outings, with the Man of Steel now sporting a brighter costume as well as his iconic hair curl. His arrival is also marked by John Williams' Superman theme music instead of the Man of Steel track that composed by Hans Zimmer for Cavill's iteration.

Black Adam Begins a New Era for DC

Johnson has previously shared that Black Adam's Superman cameo is meant to not only set up a future Black Adam vs. Superman film but to tease the "new era in the DC Universe that's about to begin." Recently, reports have emerged that have suggested Warner Bros. is developing a proper Man of Steel sequel with producer Charles Roven. Scripts for Wonder Woman 3 and The Flash 2 have also been completed, while Black Adam spinoff films centered around the Justice Society of America heroes have also been teased by the film's producers. The Suicide Squad writer/director James Gunn is also reportedly in talks to helm a mystery movie for WB and DC.
