Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart may be heading to Sony's remake of "Jumanji." According to Variety, the "Central Intelligence" stars are in early talks to join the film.

The report claims the studio is moving forward with a deal despite the actors' busy work schedules. No details about the roles have been announced.

Based on Chris Van Allsburg’s original 1981 children's adventure book, “Jumanji” was adapted into a successful 1995 film starring Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, David Alan Grier, Bonnie Hunt, Jonathan Hyde and Bebe Neuwirth. “Jumanji” tells the tale of a 12-year-old boy who gets trapped in a board game in 1969, only to be released 26 years later.

Directed by Jake Kasdan and written by Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, Sony's "Jumaji" remake is scheduled for release on July 28, 2017.
