Dwayne Johnson called out President Donald Trump for his absence of leadership in a video declaring his support for the Black Lives Matter Movement.

Posting the video to his Twitter, Johnson asked a simple question: "Where are you? Where is our leader? Where is our leader at this time when our country is down on its knees, begging, pleading, hurt, angry, frustrated, in pain with its arms out, just wanting to be heard?"

While he didn't address Trump directly, the Jumanji star made note of the President's previous derogatory comments about BLM, as well as deflection tactics from those who counter the movement's goals by saying "All Lives Matter." "Of course, all lives matter," Johnson noted, "but in this moment right now, this defining, pivotal, explosive moment where our country is down on its knees… we must say the words: Black lives matter."

"We must become the leaders we are looking for. I'll ask it one more time: Where are you? Where is that compassionate leader who steps up and takes accountability for his country and all the people in our country?" Johnson demanded in the video’s final moments. "Where are you? I'll tell you what, we're here. We're all here. The process to change has already begun. You can feel it across our country. Change is happening. It's going to take time. We're going to get beat up. We're going to take our lumps. There's going to be blood, but the process of change has already begun."

Since last week, hundreds of protests have formed across the United States in response to George Floyd's death as a result of police brutality. Trump has referred to protestors as "thugs" and demanded that state governors send in the military to "dominate" them. Recently, he had police forcefully disperse protestors at Lafayette Square with tear gas to take a photo at St. Johns Church.

To help protestors affected by their arrests, you can find donation links to Black Lives Matter, the Minneapolis Freedom Fund, the George Floyd Memorial Fund, Justice for Regis Korchinski Paque Fund, the National Police Accountability Project and the Louisville Community Bail Fund.
