Audiences have held their breath in anticipation of the first full trailer for Warner Bros.' Black Adam, which has been in the works for years.

On social media, star Dwayne Johnson announced the world premiere for Black Adam's trailer will arrive on June 8. He marked its oncoming arrival with a photo celebrating one of the film's most important scenes-- the moment when Teth-Adam earns his throne. "For the millions of you who know the Black Adam mythology - you understand the meaning and power of this throne. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t sit on it until we shot the actual scene where Black Adam has earned his right to take his sacred place on high. His throne is a big deal."

While the trailer has not yet been released, audiences have had small glimpses at what Black Adam has in store for them. It can be expected some of the footage featured in the upcoming trailer will be the same snippets shown to the audience at CinemaCon 2022. There it was reported viewers got a good look at the titular antihero's past from slave to god, and at his immense power, with reports detailing a scene in which Black Adam catches a missile with his bare hands. However, a throne scene was not one of those featured in the trailer, according to reports.

In his recent post, Johnson added that prior to this momentous scene, he would only allow himself to sit around it and when the production recently filmed him sitting on the throne, it was worth it. "I always just sat my big ass at the steps and did my homework... We finally filmed 'the iconic moment' and what a moment it was."

He also expressed his enthusiasm for Black Adam and how the project is a highlight of his career. "Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of playing some great (fun) characters over the years, but none speak to my DNA more than this antihero known as the man in black, Teth Adam."
