Dwayne Johnson is bringing Black Adam to DC FanDome, as the star holds court during a panel at the 24-hour virtual convention that sets the stage for the DC Extended Universe film. Fans can look forward to Johnson answering fan questions, along with a few surprises.

The panel opened with an animated retelling of Black Adam's origin, with the revelation that he has been imprisoned in Kahndaq for 5,000 years.

"Black Adam is one of the most powerful characters in the DC Universe," Johnson began to a fan question. "However, heroes must show restraint against their enemies. Black Adam does not practice restraint, which makes him very likable to me."

"The number one choice of DC hero to take on an adventure with me is Wonder Woman," Johnson said. "The character is one I have respect for. I always thought it'd be great to hang out with Superman. At the end of the day... Black Adam and Superman could become friends. Or... they won't. We'll see."

Noah Centineo, who plays Atom Smasher, made a surprise appearance. He discussed the intense training that goes into playing the Justice Society of America hero. "Al Rostin really has something to prove, especially with his lineage," Centineo said while describing Atom Smasher. "He goes through a transformation during the film, because this is his first mission. It hits him across the face. It's the journey of what he goes through to become a superhero. I also don't mind being the size of the Eiffel Tower."

"It's so cool seeing Atom Smasher next to Black Adam," Johnson added. "It's an amazing visual. I'm so happy you're on board. I want to thank you for working so hard and this has been a passion project of mine."

Hawkman, Doctor Fate and Cyclone were then confirmed to join Atom Smasher as JSA members in Black Adam. "Welcome to truth, justice, and the Black Adam Way," Johnson teased. He then called out the Justice League to bring the Black Adam panel to an end.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson and Noah Centineo. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 22, 2021.
