With the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic affecting the release dates of several films, Hollywood has turned to re-releases of old movies to help support the theater business. One of these films will feature a look at two upcoming blockbusters.

To promote Christopher Nolan's Tenet, a 10th-anniversary screening of Inception has been planned. According to Palads Teatret in Denmark, the re-release is set to feature the first trailer for Denis Villeneuve's Dune, as well as a new trailer for Wonder Woman 1984. In addition, audiences will get an extended look at Tenet.

The Inception re-release is planned to debut in select theaters internationally, starting on Aug. 12, with U.S. audiences experiencing the film on the big screen again on Aug. 21. In addition, fans can expect to see more of Wonder Woman 1984 the DC FanDome event on Aug. 22. The content will reportedly vary in Denmark and Portugal.

Dune is based on the acclaimed novel by Frank Herbert and is the first part of a two-part adaptation from Villeneuve. It boasts an all-star cast including Josh Brolin, Jason Mamoa, Rebecca Ferguson, and Timothée Chalamet as protagonist Paul Atreides. The film is scheduled for a Dec. 18 release.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve from a script he co-wrote with Eric Roth and Jon Spaihts, Legendary Pictures' Dune stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgård, Javier Bardem, Charlotte Rampling, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Stephen Henderson and Josh Brolin. The film arrives in theaters Dec. 18.

Directed and co-written by Patty Jenkins, Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal and Natasha Rothwell. The film arrives in theaters Oct. 2.
