A new Dune poster has been revealed ahead of the sci-fi epic's October premiere, this time to invite audiences to visit the sands of Arrakis in a Dolby Cinema. After a long wait, audiences will finally get to see the newest onscreen adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune from director Denis Villeneuve on Oct. 22. Ahead of the film's premiere, Dolby has unveiled another stunning poster for the film to advertise the its arrival in Dolby Cinemas, which will deliver more dynamic visuals and superior sound design than a standard theater. The Dolby poster utilizes an almost minimalist style, highlighting the merciless wastes of Dune's setting, the planet Arrakis. Alongside the poster, Dolby tweeted an excerpt from the Litany Against Fear, one of the most frequently quoted and thematically resonant passages from the novel.Related: One of Dune's Biggest Stars Was Only on the Set for 4 Days

Like the recently-released Dune IMAX poster, the Dolby poster focuses on a lone figure crossing the desert dunes in sweltering heat that's almost physically palpable. The figure could be Dune protagonist Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet), but with the character's face covered, it isn't entirely clear. The film's lengthy marketing campaign has previously included a star-studded ensemble poster and an array of individual character posters.

Although the film's theatrical release has been delayed numerous times due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Dune finally premiered at the Venice International Film Festival, where it earned a positive reception from critics and an admirable Rotten Tomatoes score. Critics praised the film for its sprawling setting, jaw-dropping visuals and a thoughtful story that remains faithful to the source material. The cast and director have also received heaps of praise.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve and starring Timothée Chalamet as Paul, Zendaya as Chani, Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica and Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Dune will debut in theaters, as well as for a limited time on HBO Max, on Oct. 22.
