Disney's Dumbo Posters Highlight Michael Keaton, Danny DeVito & More


Two months ahead of the film's wide release, Disney has released posters for its live-action remake of Dumbo spotlighting the various main characters in the film.

Shared by Entertainment Weekly, the character posters showcase the eponymous elephant, Colin Farrell's caretaker Holt Farrier, Michael Keaton's conniving businessman V.A. Vandevere, Eva Green's high-flying entertainer Colette Marchant and Danny DeVito's struggling circus owner Max Medici.

A remake of the classic 1941 animated film of the same name, the upcoming movie takes place shortly after World War I, with Farrell's character struggling to fit back into the world after losing an arm in the war. As the single father discovers Dumbo's incredible abilities, he finds both a kindred spirit and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in the titular pachyderm.

Dumbo is the first of three remakes slated for a wide theatrical release this year, with Aladdin and The Lion King both sceduled to open later in the year. Additionally, a live-action remake of Lady and the Tramp is expected to premiere on Disney+ by the year's end.

Dumbo, directed by Tim Burton, stars Danny DeVito, Eva Green, Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton and Alan Arkin. It is scheduled to be release on March 29 in theaters everywhere.
