WARNING: The following contains spoilers for the DuckTales Season 3 premiere, "Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks," which premiered Saturday on DisneyXD.

DuckTales has slowly introduced elements from decades of Disney animated canon over its first two seasons, but the series has also brought into the fold new characters like Webby Vanderquack's friend Violet Sabrewing. And in the Season 3 premiere, we learn a little more about her with the casual addition of her two dads.

Each wearing a shirt emblazoned with the words "I'm With Dad," the two make their debut as proud, supportive parents in "Challenge of the Senior Junior Woodchucks." In the episode, Huey and Violet compete to become the one Junior Woodchuck of the year to be promoted to the rank of Senior Woodchuck. Violet arrives late alongside her family, which includes her newly adoptive sister Lena, and her two fathers.

Violet's dads don't have any dialogue, and aren't yet named, but they're depicted together as they proudly celebrate their daughter's achievements. They don't embrace, or anything, but there's no doubt about their relationship. If their proximity to Violet and their matching T-shirts aren't clues enough, Lena De Spell shrieks from the crowd at the Junior Woodchucks ceremony, "Woo! That's my sister from a couple misters!"

Introduced in the DuckTales Season 2 episode"Friendship Hates Magic!," Violet befriends Webby, thereby becoming an immediate rival for Lena. However, after being forced to team up to save Webby, the became close friends. Violet returned for a sleepover at McDuck Manor in "A Nightmare on Killmotor Hill!," and helped to defend against the Moonlander invasion of Earth in the two-part Season 2 finale, "Moonvasion!"

Although Disney has been praised for its inclusion of LGBT characters on series like Andi Mack and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, the entertainment conglomerate has faced criticism for overselling what amounts to minimal representation in such films as Beauty & the Beast, Avengers: Endgame an Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Airing Saturdays on Disney XD, DuckTales Season 3 stars the voices of David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci, Beck Bennett, Toks Olagundoye, Tony Anselmo and Paget Brewster.
