Scrooge McDuck and his family may be in the fight of their lives when DuckTales returns in September, as a special sneak peek shows fans what's in store for the adventurous family.
As the clip begins, General Lunaris presents the captive Donald Duck to the rest of the Moonlanders, informing them that Donald is Della's brother. Of course, when Donald speaks, no one can understand him, so Lunaris twists his words by telling everyone he said "Death to the Moon!," further manipulating the other Moonlanders.
The following scene give fans some idea of what to expect when the show returns such as time going haywire, and perhaps most importantly, an alliance of the show's other major villains led by Scrooge's archenemy and business rival, Flintheart Glomgold. The video then ends with a voice-over from Lunaris ominously saying "I believe the words you're looking for are 'Aw, phooey,'" while Lunaris sits in a chair with an evil smile on his face.
If the video is any indication, the second half of Season 2 might feature larger stakes than previously seen, especially with regards to Lunaris' plans to invade Earth and Glomgold teaming up with his fellow villains. If this preview is anything to go by, Scrooge and his family definitely have their work cut out for them.
