Entertainment Weekly reports "DuckTales" will make its debut in the summer of 2017 and "features a new look at the reimagined Launchpad McQuack (Scrooge [McDuck]'s personal pilot and plus-one)."

The 15-second teaser video shows large gold coins falling from the sky and landing on the "DuckTales" logo before it's displayed prominently on the screen. As the theme music kicks in, a "squawk" from Donald Duck can be heard in the background, while those same gold coins fly towards the camera. Below the logo is the phrase, "Coming 2017."

The original series aired from 1987 to 1990 on weekday afternoons, and inspired the 1990 theatrical release “DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.” Along with Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Duey, Louie and Donald Duck, the new “DuckTales” will feature Launchpad McQuack, Gyro Gearloose, Duckworth, Flintheart Glomgold, Magica DeSpell and Poe, Ma Beagle and the Beagle Boys (Burger Beagle, Bouncer Beagle), Mrs. Beakley and Webbigail “Webby” Vanderquack.

"DuckTales" is executive produced by Matt Youngberg, with Francisco Angones as story editor and co-producer, and Sean Jimenez as art director.
